The Family

"There are no strangers here; Only friends you haven't met yet."
- William Butler Yeats

Gary and Dana Sandlin, the owners of The 406, aren't your typical restaurant people.  They are NURSES who have served tirelessly on the front lines of this pandemic.  They were also faithful patrons of the former restaurant, and missed having their favorite spot to unwind when the pandemic resulted in its closure. When the opportunity arose to reopen the restaurant under their ownership, they jumped in wholeheartedly to serve their community in a new capacity.  Their enthusiasm and vision have breathed new life into The 406, and are driving their efforts to continue expansion and preservation in the historic district.

A Florida native, our General Manager Casey Hull has worked in the restaurant industry much of his adult life, from Times Square, to California, and back to Florida.  There was even a stint as a commerical salmon fisherman in Alaska, which he'll gladly tell you about at the bar over a good glass of bourbon.  He leads a team of passionate servers and bartenders so your experience at The 406 is top notch.  In his free time, Casey has a passion for adventures on the water, and loves all that Suwannee County has to offer with its rivers and springs.  Ask him for recommendations about his favorite spots! (But not about that favorite fishing hole...)
